The Lap Band

I am going to a seminar next Tuesday (4/28) for the Lap Band system that you may or may not have heard about on commercials.

Basically it’s an adjustable band that can be placed around your stomach near the esophagus making you eat less and feel full with less.

I am going to try this approach to my weight loss because I need help. More help than just walking and exercise alone can accomplish. The Lap Band is not nearly as invasive as the gastric bypass or stomach stapling methods and is reversible.

I’ve been doing research about this for quite some time and I’ve found a very informative community here at http://www.lapbandtalk.com.  I plan on contributing my journey there as well.  They seem very supportive of their users and they have quite lengthy discussions around the Lap Band and life with it.  I look forward to being with them.
